A note on Phrasal Verbs
What is a Phrasal verb? It is an idiomatic phrase consisting of a verb and another element, typically either an adverb, as in break down, or a preposition, for example see to, or a combination of both, such as look down on.
Why learn Phrasal verbs? They are used all the time between native speakers. You will also see them in written English. You will hear them in movies, podcasts, on the radio, and when speaking to natives. Phrasal verbs can make communication quicker and easier. They are interesting and even fun. Plus you will sound more native! You’ll see :)
Phrasal verbs aren’t difficult to learn, they just take time and practice, a lot of practice. There are many ways to learn Phrasal verbs but in this 21 day workshop I have categorized the MOST common Phrasal verbs that you will actually USE in your daily life. So let’s get started :)
